Thomas A. Polenzani received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Philosophy from St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois. He did graduate work at the same school as well as partially completed the MBA Program at the University of Chicago.
Professionally, he is a licensed Life and Health Insurance Broker as well as a General Securities Representative. In 1971, he received the Chartered Life Underwriter designation. In 1990, he also received the Chartered Financial Consultant designation.
Since April 1975, Tom has been a life and health insurance broker in Pasadena, California; specializing in employee benefit programs and the coordination of personal insurance planning for business and professional owners.
In the Community, Tom has served on the Board and Executive Committee of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce; as a volunteer for the Red Cross; United Way; City of Hope League of Pasadena and retired as an active member of the Tournament of Roses as a 25 year member. He has been a Board member of the Child Care Information Service and the President of the St. Elizabeth Church Parish Council. Tom has volunteered for Union Station Foundation, helping feed homeless persons since 1985. He served two terms on the Union Station Board.
Currently Tom is an active member of the Pasadena Sunrise Rotary Club, for which he has served as president two terms. He is also an active member of the Board for Foothill Vocational Opportunities, for which he has also served two terms as president.
Tom Polenzani is currently enjoying retirement, loves sports and in particular all UCLA sports teams. His favorite pastimes are his grandchildren, reading, gardening, and travel.
